1.  Where will Aspen Ideas: Climate 2026 be held?

Aspen Ideas: Climate Chicago will take place at three different locations:

2.  Where should I stay?

Registered attendees will have access to a list of preferred hotels with special rates.

3.   Is there a dress code for the event?

Attendees are encouraged to dress comfortably, yet professionally. We highly recommend bringing a light jacket and wearing comfortable shoes to help you get around the venue and Chicago. If you plan to participate in offsite excursions, please pack accordingly.

4.   What food and beverage options will there be? What if I have dietary restrictions?

A range of food, snacks and beverages will be available for attendees to enjoy throughout Aspen Ideas: Climate inclusive of vegan and gluten free diets. Please email us at at aspenideasclimate@aspeninstitute.org if you have any dietary restrictions.

5.   I am a nursing parent, where can I pump or nurse?

We have a lactation room at the Convene Willis Tower. Please email us at aspenideasclimate@aspeninstitute.org to reserve the room. Please be aware that all attendees at Aspen Ideas: Climate must be 18 years or older.

8.   Are translation services available?

Please email us at aspenideasclimate@aspeninstitute.org if you require translation services.

9.   Are there private meeting room spaces available?

Convene Willis Tower boasts three lounges, numerous tables, private phone booths  and more to hold  your conversations. If you need further support, please reach out to aspenideasclimate@aspeninstitute.org.

REGISTRATION & PASSES

1. I can no longer attend Aspen Ideas: Climate. What are my options?

We’re sorry that you are unable to join us in Chicago! Passes are transferable but not refundable. To request a transfer, please email us here.

2.  What is a Bring a Friend Pass?

A Bring a Friend Pass is a full general admissions pass that Patron passholders receive to gift to guests of their choosing at no additional charge.

Bring a Friend Pass restrictions include:

  • A Bring a Friend Pass does not grant access to any patron receptions, dinners, private roundtables, or special events
  • No more than 2 guest passes may be used by one person.
  • Blackouts of oversubscribed sessions may apply.

3.  I’m a member of the Aspen Society, are there discounts that apply to me?

Aspen Society members are eligible for a 15% discount on our General Admission and Premium passes. You will have the option to identify yourself as a member during registration, and a discount will automatically be applied.

4.  I am a member of the press, how do I get a pass?

Press registration is open to journalists actively covering Aspen Ideas: Climate on behalf of a media organization. Please apply for press credentials here. Covering press will have their own press lounge, limited reserved seats at our plenaries and other resources to support their reporting.

5.  I am traveling internationally for Aspen Ideas: Climate and need documents for my visa. Do you have documents that you can provide?

The Aspen Institute does not provide visa letters for attendees of Aspen Ideas: Climate who are not specifically invited to speak at the event.

1. When can I view the full Aspen Ideas: Climate agenda?

2. What if I miss a session?

All Plenary and Breakout sessions are recorded so you can come back and view what you’ve missed! Recordings will be available on our Aspen Institute Youtube Channel a week following after Aspen Ideas: Climate has concluded.

3. I am interested in becoming a sponsor at Aspen Ideas: Climate, with whom can I connect?

Please email the Aspen Ideas: Climate Team at aspenideasclimate@aspeninstitute.org to receive additional information on sponsoring at this year’s Aspen Ideas: Climate.

4. How do I connect with other attendees?

We have created a private Aspen Ideas: Climate LinkedIn Group as the official forum and networking hub for attendees of our event. The LinkedIn group, an extension of our mission to foster collaboration and the exchange of ideas, is dedicated to creating solutions-driven dialogue, facilitating networking opportunities, and helping our attendees make the most of their experience at Aspen Ideas: Climate. Attendees are invited to join this group upon registering.

5. Can I volunteer at Aspen Ideas: Climate?

Please email aspenideasclimate@aspeninstitute.org for more information and/or to set up a short interview. Volunteers will be asked to participate in short trainings in advance of the event. Please note: housing and travel are not provided for volunteers.
